Fratrum

2018

Fratrum is an experimentation around Noemi’s two brothers and three step brothers where she tries to blend her family by decomposing parts of their bodies.

The installation consisting of five circular projection screens on which macro videos of body parts are projected. The assembly of the videos creates a recomposition between the different parts, producing at times living landscapes and at others, a creature. The soundtrack is a composition of sounds emitted by the bodies mixed with electronic sounds of machines and scanners. The installation of the five screens allows the viewer to enter into the intimacy of this family by going in the centre and to be surrounded by these images.
